William Frank Cerny
William Frank Cerny raised registered hereford cattle until 1954 when he and his son, William (Bill) bought the John Deere Implement business in Burke, SD. He retired from the business in 1967. He remained on the farm and enjoyed gardening in his retirement. He enjoyed reminiscing about past events and spent the weekend attending the annual Burke Threshing Bee.
William married Virginia Walters Cerny on 7 Jun 1930 in Winner, SD. (Virginia Walters Cerny was born on 12 Jun 1902 and died on 27 Apr 1995.) |
