He retired as a mill-wright with Big Three Welding Company. Ira married Jean Cerny of Naper on Oct 20, 1949 at Sacred Heart Church in Omaha. Survivors inclue his wife, Jean, one son, Rex Lee of Cedar Rapids, two daughters, Joelen Fox and Luann Fox of Vandalia, OH; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
