Joseph Humpal

Joseph Humpal and Anna Konda married and lived in Spillville, Iowa. Anna Konda Humpal died with the birth of the sixteenth child.

Joseph and Anna came from Czechoslovakia by boat to the United States. They lived at Spillville, Iowa , then moved near Kimball, South Dakota. They lived in a sod house when all the children were born.

Joseph Humpal and Anna Konda Humpal are both buried at the Fairfax, SD cemetery.

Joseph married Anna Kanda Humpal, daughter of Unknown and Unknown. (Anna Kanda Humpal was born on 23 Jul 1850 and died on 27 May 1892.)
