My dear Auntie:
Mother has been staying with my sister Emma since summer. I am sorry to be bothering too, she cannot see very well, the shock affected her sight but she thinks the glasses are at fault. When she receives your letters, she always cries. Perhaps you may have a chance to write her one more letter before she goes home to "God", as I don't think she'll ever be able to write you atgain. I want to take this opportunity to thank you for being so kind to her.
