Obituary of Lawrence R. Freeman:
Lawrence R. Freeman, 46, Soda Springs, died Monday afternoon at Caribou Memorial Hospital following a stroke. He was born March 23, 1930 at Burke, SD to Richard and Louise Frey Freeman. He Married Helen Marie Cerny Oct 6, 1951 at Naper, NE. The family lived at Soda Springs the last 11 years, moving here from Rapid City, SD.
He was a power shovel operator for J. R. Simplot Co. He was a veteran of the Korean War and a member of the VFW. He was a past member of the Loyal Order of Moose and St. Mary's Catholic Church in Soda Springs. Survivors are his widow and two sons and a daughter, Larry, Roger and Tammy all of Soda Springs; his father in Paramount, CA; and two sisters, Mrs. Helen Potthoff of Livermore, CA and Mrs. Lucille Teel of Burke, SD. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
Lawrence married Helen Marie Cerny Freeman Putnam, daughter of Clement Joseph Cerny and Lydia Wilhelmina Brockmann Cerny, on 6 Oct 1951. (Helen Marie Cerny Freeman Putnam was born on 14 Nov 1931.)
