Cady Anne Reynolds

  General Notes:

The following prayer was written in Cady Anne Reynolds funeral bulletin....it was written by her father Robbie Reynolds.

When God formed her and breathed life into her body and presented her to her parents, He had a plan. When He gave her strong will and determination and the light of pure love in her eyes, He had a plan. When He blessed her with kindness and charity and the courage to use them both whenever the opportunity presented itself, He had a plan. When He challenged her with problems, migraines and long roads that included personal hardships and grieving, He had a plan. When she left us, too soon for our liking, He had a plan. Her light will burn brightly forever in our hearts, and all of yours in hers. Hopefully, in time, His plan will be revealed and we will all be together again in His house. As Rob and Shari were leaving the hospital that sad early morning, Rob looked back and saw on the sheet a drop of blood in the shape of a heart. The nurse cut-out the heart shaped drop of blood and gave it to Rob and Shari. Rob carried this little drop of heart-shaped blood in a zip lock bag in his pocket. Everyone wanted to see the heart. A copy of the heart was made and Uncle Christopher Reynolds wrote the following poem overlaying the drop of blood in the shape of a heart:
Cady's Heart
My body is gone buy my spirit lives on
So I leave you this heart to keep me along
With every smile that you have and every living thought
No sadness do I leave that's not what I was taught
By my Mom and my Dad who were examples for me
To be thankful for every moment that I could Love so
Tenderly
(drop of blood in the shape of a heart)
So take notice of my Heart for it comes from above
To show all my family and friends my Unconditional Love
I Live and Love in All of You!
