Thomas Duane Cerny passed away on the evening of Friday, May 8, 2020 at the age of 82 years.
Tom was a retiree from Western Electric after a career spanning 39 years.
He was preceded in death by parents Frank and Mildred; brother Eugene; nephew Bryan Effle.
Tom is survived by wife Pamela; sons Michael and Mark (Jennifer), grandsons Ryan and Tyler; Brothers Frank (Betty) and Raymond (Pat); sister Mildred (Don) Effle; sister-in-law Julia Cerny; nieces and nephews.
Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdon come. They will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil; for thine is the kingdon, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
Thomas married Pamela Nuss Cerny, daughter of Albert Gideon Nuss and Bonnie Mae Bonar Nuss, on 21 Sep 1963 in Omaha, NE. (Pamela Nuss Cerny was born on 20 Mar 1942 in Fairbury, NE, died on 26 Jan 2022 in Ralston, NE and was buried on 2 Feb 2022 in Omaha National Cemetery.)
