Bryan Todd Effle

  General Notes:

On the day of Bryan's death we were talking to Brother Tom Cerny and Uncle to Bryan Effle. Tom said that in the bible there is a verse, "The day of your death is greater than the day of your birth". Bryan surely is watching over his family from heaven.

Services were Saturday, June 30 at St. Ludger Catholic Church in Creighton and burial at St. Wenceslaus Cemetery in Verdigre. Mr. Effle died June 25, 2007 of a brain tumor at Faith Regional Health Services.

He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Norfolk. He was awarded a Goodyear Highway Hero Award with a fellow truck driver in 2002. He collected John Deere tractors, enjoyed the outdoors, and Husker football..

Bryan died of a brain tumor which was diagnosed on Christmas day 2006.

The following prayer was on the prayer card for Bryan's funeral:
God looked around His garden and He found an empty place, He then looked down upon this earth and saw your tired face. He put His arms around you and lifted you to rest. God's garden must be beautiful, He always takes the best. He knew that you were suffering. He knew that you were in pain, He also knew in Heaven you would never hurt again. He saw the road was getting tough and the hills harder to climb, so He closed your weary eyelids and whispered "Peace be thine". It broke our hearts to lose you, but you didn't go alone, for part of us went with you, the day God called you home. If tears could build a staircase and memories a lane, we'd walk all the way to Heaven and bring you home again.
