General Notes:
M. the Chevalier of deLorimier distinguished himself by his great valor at the taking of Fort George, and at the siege of Corlar, where he received several wounds. Age 61, covered with four honorable wounds, M. the Chevalier of Lorimier went to live near Besauxon, in 1766 after the session of the country to England. Here is a list of services of this valiant Canadian officer, such as are reported in the archives of the navy at Paris: Enseigne en second, 1725 Enseigne en pied, 1733 Knight of the Royal and Military order of St. Louis, 1759 Commandant of the Fort of the Presentation, Near Prescott, from 1755 to 1759.
Claude married Demoiselle Louise LePailleur De Lorimier.
