During the war of 1812-1813, Guillaume Clement Eduoard took part in the battle of Chrystler's Farm under the command of General Wilkinson. One of his Uncles, Mr. Louis deLorimier was killed during the engagement with the American troops. When peace was established, Mr. De Lorimier turned to agriculture, and settled near Liese, near St. Laurent. He died there Dec 31, 1842 and was burried in St. Laurent.
